Duncan Stewart
As the Company Director, it’s exciting working with people and assisting them with their projects”.
Originally from New Plymouth, Duncan ‘s surveying career spans over 20 years, including a role with a large Construction Surveying firm in Australia as state Manager of New South Wales, 7 years in Taupo and over 10 years in Auckland with one of New Zealand largest consultancy companies.
Duncan is well skilled in all areas of Surveying and manages the client portfolios within the company. Duncan’s interests outside of work focus around family, friends, cross-fit, sports and healthy living
Emma Stewart
Emma Stewart
Working as the Office Manager for Stewart Surveying, Emma manages the company accounts and is the first face you see entering the office.
With a formidable record in company administration, Emma is the glue that holds the office together!
Alfaaz Mohammed
Alfaaz Mohammed
Alfaaz joined Stewart Surveying in 2017 as a Survey Technician and currently provides support services for pre/post survey processing, engineering, infrastructure and topographic surveying.
Alfaaz has never shied away from a challenge to increase his skill and knowledge of the industry. At Stewart Surveying, Alfaaz works as a field-to-finish surveyor either as a two-man team or as a one-man crew utilizing our modern surveying gear.
Alfaaz was awarded the ‘Most Commendable Performance award’ at Unitec on completing his NZ Diploma in Surveying. Outside of company activities, Alfaaz enjoys most outdoor activities and spending quality time with his young family.
Matthew Baranski
Matthew Baranski
Educated with a Masters of Science in Surveying Degree in Poland, Matthew joined the team at Stewart Surveying in 2018.
Strong skills developed in Poland, Holland and New Zealand, Matthew’s experience in Engineering surveying, roading, railways and subdivision work contribute to key areas of company projects.
During his leisure time, Matthew indulges in yoga, art and has a keen interest in music.
Raksha Kumar
Raksha Kumar
Raksha is one of the companies longest standing employees and is currently studying her NZ Diploma in Surveying at Unitec and has enrolled in the Surveying Degree course at Otago for 2019.
A positive attitude and a willingness to assist make Raksha a valued and popular team member. During her free time, Raksha enjoys travelling and outdoor activities.
James Hannah
James Hannah
Born and bred in East Auckland, James is currently studying his Degree in Surveying at Otago, and works as a survey assistant/technician during University holidays.
James loves spending time mountain biking, skateboarding and churning up motorcross tracks around the country.
